ANOHNI announces Lou Reed tribute show at National Concert Hall
Tickets start at €74.50 and go on sale on October 9
English-born singer-songwriter ANOHNI has announced ‘Dark Blue ANOHNI Sings Lou Reed’ which is set for November 26 at 8pm at the National Concert Hall.
Known for being the lead singer of ANOHNI and the Johnsons, the singer is performing a set that commemorates Lou Reed, who she supported and toured with in 2003. She was also invited to sing with Reed during his last public performance in 2013.
ANOHNI has had a successful 30-year career, which has seen her nominated twice for the Mercury Music Prize and includes an eclectic array of genres that range from classical to dance and south.
The singer's most recent critically acclaimed album My Back Was a Bridge For You to Cross was praised by Hot Press, and includes a goodbye track for her late friend Lou Reed.
Tickets can be found here and go on sale on October 9 at 10am.
