Andrea Corr announces seasonal treat, The Christmas Album
Get ready for a new album of holiday classics, plus an original by Andrea Corr.
Irish singer-songwriter Andrea Corr is preparing for this holiday season with the announcement of her next project The Christmas Album.
In 2019, Corr made a visit to Dublin's Out Lady's Hospice and Care Services in Harold's Cross to sing her favourite Christmas songs for patients. This inspired her to record and release 2020's Christmas Songs EP.
Today, the 48-year old has announced her next project, The Christmas Album out December 2nd via EastWest. The album features new covers of classic Christmas songs, including 'It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas', 'The Christmas Song', 'Let It Snow' and more. It also features an original track written by Corr herself, titled 'Begin Again'.
“Every record has a personality.” explained Corr. “ I see this one as a courageous little fighter, incubated by Covid. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I have enjoyed making it”
