Rufus and Martha Wainwright’s A Not So Silent Night family Christmas show announced for National Concert Hall
In the Wainwright family’s first ever Dublin appearance, they will bring their famed family Christmas show with special guests to the National Concert Hall.
Rufus and Martha Wainwright will be joined by special guests yet to be named in this holiday season’s rendition of their annual A Not So Silent Night show.
The Wainwright/McGarrigle family’s A Not So Silent Night shows have become a family tradition rooted in sisters Kate, Anna, and Jane McGarrigle singing Christmas carols with their parents back home in Saint-Sauveu-des-Monts in Canada. From here, more of the family joined the ensemble and they performed almost annually in shows in the US and UK.
The show includes various Special Experience Ticket options, available for purchase in addition to regular tickets. Special Experiences include joining the Wainwrights on stage to help perform their closing song, sitting in on sound check, observing rehearsals, and joining at the after party.
Special Experience Ticket Prices range from €75-€500 and proceeds will go towards the Stand Up to Cancer/Kate McGarrigle Fund which aims to provide music therapy for cancer patients and raise funds for sarcoma research.
A Not So Silent Night will be held on Monday 2 December and Tuesday 3 December at 7:30pm.
Tickets start at €40 and will go on sale this Friday, 26 July at 10:00 here.
