The Irish three-piece lead a Top 5 that includes the likes of Noah Kahan, Sabrina Carpenter, Fleetwood Mac and Tate McRae this week.
Following the release of their debut album Reverie last week, recent Hot Press cover stars Amble have soared straight to No.1 on the Official Irish Albums Chart – with the biggest Week 1 selling album of 2025 so far.
This is also reportedly the biggest Irish debut on the chart since Dermot Kennedy, back in 2019.
The Top 5 also includes Noah Kahan's Stick Season (No.2), Sabrina Carpenter's Short n' Sweet (No.3), Fleetwood Mac's 50 Years - Don't Stop (No.4), and Tate McRae's So Close To What (No.5)
Reverie – Hot Press's Album Of The Month – scored an eight-star review in our latest issue.
"Warm, organic and intimate, the album is stripped back but not undercooked – rather, it’s a quietly confident effort that invites you gently in, rather than shouting to be noticed," Riccardo Dwyer wrote in the review. "There are elements here of Planxty, in the subtle filigree coilings of the acoustic instruments, but also hints of Guy Clark in the narrative lyrics and the country-influenced vocal tone...."

Robbie Cunningham, Ross McNerney, and Oisin McCaffrey formed Amble in late 2022. In just over two years, they'd garnered a phenomenal fanbase – translating into over 100 million streams, and 100,000 tickets sold worldwide.
In addition to their major international dates – including a North American tour with Hozier – Amble are set to play a series of sold-out shows across Ireland this summer, followed by a 3Arena headliner on December 4.
