Amble's Reverie remains at No. 1 on Irish Albums Chart for second week
Reverie is the biggest Week 1 selling album of 2025 so far
Amble's debut album, Reverie is No. 1 on the Irish Albums Chart for the second week in a row.
Released via Warner Records on May 23, Reverie was crowned Hot Press's Album Of The Month in our May issue. You can read the review of the LP here.
Amble, consisting of Robbie Cunningham, Ross McNerney, and Oisin McCaffrey, formed in late 2022. Since then, the trio has gained significant popularity in Ireland and abroad. Their first Irish tour in 2024 was completely sold out, as is their performance at 3Arena at the end of this year.
“It’s a combination of songs we wrote before we met and songs that we’ve written together since,” McCaffrey said about the record. “It’s the three of us in a room, playing all the instruments with no added bells or whistles. We wanted it to be as close as possible to the live shows, which are what have got us to this point.”
The band shared the news of their second week at the top of the charts on Instagram: "Reverie is #1 again this week in Ireland. Thank you very much to everyone supporting this album!"
This month, Amble will be opening for Hozier on his North American tour, before embarking on their own largely sold-out string of shows. A full list of their upcoming gigs can be found here.
