Harry Styles debuts at No.1 on the Irish Albums Chart with Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally
After years of fan anticipation, his new album was released last week.
Harry Styles has debuted at No.1 on the Irish Albums Chart with Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.
The album arrived only last week, coming as his first release since Harry's House in 2022. Just below, in the No.2 and No.3 spots on the chart, are Olivia Dean's The Art of Loving and Amble's Reverie.
In a recent review of his new album, Hot Press wrote: "Across twelve shimmering tracks, the record makes good on its intentions. Synth lines shimmer, basslines pulse and percussion feels built for movement rather than introspection.
"Where previous albums often leaned on pop-rock nostalgia, Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally is more concerned with the rhythm of the dancefloor.
"Styles has long had an ear for sweet-sounding hooks, but here they arrive doused in textured electronic gloss and rhythmic grooves that suggest a late-night club frenzy rather than a stadium sing-along."
He's spent the few years selling out arena shows worldwide, and is gearing up to perform a series of stints in Amsterdam, London, New York City, São Paulo and Mexico City this summer. Support for select gigs will come from Shania Twain, Robyn and Fcukers.
