Alphabeat to play two Ireland gigs
Denmark band Alphabeat will play two shows in Ireland in May.
Having well and truly conquered their native Denmark, Alphabeat head to Ireland for shows in Whelan’s, Dublin (May 19) and Speakeasy, Belfast (20).
They’ll be plugging their This Is Alphabeat album, which has already been bigged up by those most rock ‘n’ roll of morning show presenters, Richard and Judy.

Sound-wise, the six-piece are akin to a Madonna-loving Prefab Sprout with a bit of Chic thrown in for good measure.
