All that jazz...
POD/Red Box gain planning permission for the long-awaited Jazz Café
The Pod/Red Box have been given planning permission for the Jazz Café, which will be located next to their existing Harcourt Street premises.
Talking to hotpress.com, owner John Reynolds says that building work is likely to commence in the next six weeks with a provisional Spring 2004 completion date.
The seven-nights-a-week venue will be booked by the Mean Fiddler – a mouthwatering proposition given that upcoming attractions at the London Jazz Café include Jazzy Jeff, Blackalicious, Lisa Loeb, Brand New Heavies and Jungle Brothers.
