The 2 Johnnies and Una Healy announced for Tipperary homecoming following All Ireland win
The celebrations will kick off at around 4.30pm in Semple Stadium in Thurles.
The 2 Johnnies, Una Healy, Cailin Lua and more are set to perform at Thurles’ Semple Stadium this afternoon for Tipperary hurling champions’ homecoming, following their win against Cork at the All Ireland final yesterday.
The celebrations are set to kick off at around 4:30pm, while the team bus is scheduled to arrive with the Liam MacCarthy cup around 7pm.
Tipperary County Board PRO Jonathan Cullen said on RTÉ's Morning Ireland: "We’ll have live entertainment from 4.30pm like the 2 Johnnies, Una Healy and seeing as Pat (Shortt) is going to be there, he might pop up onto the stage as well, you never know.”
He also said that the players were in Thurles this morning, and that “some of them are up already, and the enthusiasm about them getting back to Thurles and meeting the supporters is unbelievable."
Tipperary became the 29th All Ireland hurling champions yesterday after beating Cork 3-27 to 1-18 in Croke Park.
