Fontaines D.C., Biig Piig and 49th & Main among Irish acts announced for EA Sports FC 25 soundtrack
The soundtrack will also feature unreleased tracks by Coldplay, FKA Twigs and Catfish and the Bottlemen
Ahead of the game's release later this month, the soundtrack for EA Sports FC 25 has been revealed – featuring an impressive selection of Irish acts among the star-studded list, including:
- Fontaines D.C.: 'Starburster'
- Biig Piig: 'Decimal'
- 49th & Main feat. A Little Sound: 'Can't Walk Away'
- Maverick Sabre: 'Roses Ether', as well as 'Weak' with Vintage Culture and Tom Breu
- Soft Launch: 'Cartwheels'
- Bklava and bullet tooth: 'makes me (wanna move)
EA Sports FC 25 is the second instalment in the EA Sports FC series, which follows the now-discontinued FIFA franchise.
“FC 25 is a global celebration of new music that erases borders, embraces multiple genres, and delivers several surprises,” comments Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive and President of Music for Electronic Arts. “The EA Music team has spent nearly a year curating an epic soundtrack that will define the sound of the coming season and elevate the spirit of the game like never before.”
The soundtrack also includes several unreleased songs which are set to be released later this year – including tracks by Coldplay, FKA twigs and Catfish and the Bottlemen.
EA SPORTS FC 25 is out worldwide on September 27 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
