Watch the new Saltburn trailer starring Barry Keoghan
Written and directed by Emerald Fennell, the twisted psychological thriller stars Irish talent Barry Keoghan alongside Jacob Elordi and Rosamund Pike. It is due for worldwide release November 22, 2023.
The new, eerie trailer for Emerald Fennell’s sophomore film Saltburn is out today, via Amazon MGM Studios, and it provides a sneak peek into the twisted darkness and debauchery to come.
Starring Barry Keoghan as the film’s lead, Oliver Quick, Saltburn features an all-star cast including Euphoria’s Jacob Elordi, fresh off the back of his press tour for Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla. Plus, Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl), Richard E. Grant (Can You Ever Forgive Me?), Alison Oliver (Conversations with Friends), and Archie Madekwe (Gran Turismo).

Saltburn is written and directed by Emerald Fennell, the Academy Award winning director of Promising Young Woman. The film is co-produced by LuckyChap Entertainment, owned by Margot Robbie and husband Tom Ackerley, alongside Fennell and Josey McNamara.
The official film synopsis reads: “Academy Award winning filmmaker Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman) brings us a beautifully wicked tale of privilege and desire. Struggling to find his place at Oxford University, student Oliver Quick (Barry Keoghan) finds himself drawn into the world of the charming and aristocratic Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi), who invites him to Saltburn, his eccentric family’s sprawling estate, for a summer never to be forgotten.”
Banshees of Inisherin saw Keoghan as the loveable sidekick – Saltburn places the actor in an entirely different, eerie light. The film first premiered at the 50th Telluride Film Festival back in August, with critics applauding its fearless debauchery.

Revolving around themes of obsession, the eerie, sensorial film follows Keoghan’s character as he becomes infatuated with Jacob Elordi’s Felix, the wealthy college student he portrays. The film enjoyed a recent international premiere on October 4 at the London Film Festival, garnering even more excitement for its November release.
Saltburn is in select cinemas November 15, before expanding worldwide on November 22, 2023.
