WATCH: Netflix drops teaser trailer for new limited series, All The Light We Cannot See
The upcoming TV series is based on Anthony Doerr’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name.
Netflix has shared a teaser trailer and release date for the upcoming limited TV series, All The Light We Cannot See, set to arrive on November 2nd, 2023.
The series is based on Anthony Doerr’s acclaimed 2014 novel of the same name, which earned the American author the 2015 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.
Directed by Shawn Levy (Night at the Museum, The Adam Project) and written by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders, Serenity), the four-part limited series shows the power of human connection and how it can serve as a light in the darkest of times. Set during World War II, All The Light We Cannot See interweaves the stories of Marie-Laure, a blind French girl who takes refuge at her uncle’s house after Paris is invaded by Nazi Germany, and Werner, an intelligent teenager enlisted in Hitler’s regime to track down illegal radio broadcasts.
The upcoming series stars Mark Ruffalo as Daniel LeBlanc, Hugh Laurie as Uncle Etienne, Louis Hofmann as Werner, Lars Eidinger as Von Rumpel and Marion Bailey as Madame Manec. The show also introduces newcomers Aria Mia Loberti and Nell Sutton as the older and younger Marie-Laure, respectively.
