Una Healy to star in upcoming Netflix show Celebrity Bear Hunt
Other musicians in the cast include Mel B of the Spice Girls and rapper Zuhair Hassan (Big Zuu).
Netflix has announced the full cast for their upcoming competition show Celebrity Bear Hunt, including Irish musician Una Healy– out February 5.
The show, hosted by Holly Willoughby, follows 12 celebrity guests as they compete to evade survivalist Bear Grylls in the Costa Rican jungle. Described as “a brutal game of cat and mouse,” contestants must navigate the untamed environment in order to avoid elimination.
“Ive done many wild things in my life,” said Gylls in the official trailer, “but I’ve never hunted celebrities.”
Gylls has experience as a former SAS trooper, and appears as the television host of Man vs. Wild, You vs. Wild and Running Wild With Bear Grylls.
“I’m here to learn a big lesson, and it’s from the others,” said Healy.
Healy is known for her involvement in the five person all-girl pop group, The Saturdays. Though they have since disbanded, Healy continues making music of her own. Una has starred in the television show Chasing The Saturdays’ on E! Network, and worked as a judge on the Irish version of The Voice for two seasons. She also hosted her own television show called Una’s Dream Ticket.
“Expect the unexpected,” said Willoughby.
