Release date announced for new season of The Traitors Ireland

The Traitors Ireland is set to make its return to RTÉ One and RTÉ Player on Sunday, August 30.

It will see Siobhán McSweeny back in the hosting chair, while Slane Castle will once again provide the setting to the show.

Hidden among the players, a select few will be secretly chosen as Traitors, while the rest become Faithfuls. The players will compete in challenges to win money for the prize pot of up to €50,000.

In addition to the show, Kevin McGahern will host The Traitors Ireland Uncloaked, featuring interviews with celebrity guests and those who have been murdered or banished.

Filmed in RTÉ Limerick, each episode will feature exclusive interviews and unseen footage and air straight after The Traitors Ireland.
