Madonna premieres Confessions II - The Film
The video features four unreleased new songs: 'Good for the Soul,' 'One Step Away,' 'Danceteria,' and 'Read My Lips' with Feid.
Madonna has released Confessions II - The Film, the accompanying visual to her upcoming album Confessions II.
Three tracks from the album, 'I Feel So Free', 'Bring Your Love', and 'Love Sensation', have been released so far.
The 14-minute video sees her star alongside Sabrina Carpenter (with whom she has released the single ‘I Feel So Fine’), Benedict Cumberbatch and Kate Moss.
Also featured are Julia Garner, Shygirl, Arca, Gwendoline Christie, Richard E. Grant, Honey Dijon, Odessa A’zion, Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon and Chelsea players Joao Pedro and Cole Palmer.
According to the film’s synopsis, it depicts a journey through “a fucked‑up night out that’s remembered not for what happened, but for how it felt.”
In the video, Julia Garner, who was previously offered the role of Madonna in a biopic that was later scrapped, dresses as the pop star from her 1987 'Open Your Heart' video.
Madonna’s upcoming album Confessions II is set for release on July 3 via Warner Records. The new album is the sequel to Confessions on a Dance Floor, released in 2005.
