Jessie Buckley wins at 2026 Actor Awards
Other big winners on the night included Sinners' Michael B. Jordan and the late Catherine O'Hara.
Jessie Buckley's remarkable awards season continues, with another major win for her role in Hamnet, at last night's Actor Awards (formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild [SAG] Awards) in Los Angeles.
The Killarney star was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role alongside Emma Stone (Bugonia), Chase Infiniti (One Battle After Another), Kate Hudson (Song Sung Blue), and Rose Byrne (If I Had Legs I'd Kick You).
Her Hamnet co-star, Paul Mescal, was nominated for Male Actor in a Supporting Role, but lost out on the night to Sean Penn, for his role in One Battle After Another.
Another big winner of the 2026 Actor Awards – recognising 'the outstanding motion picture and television performances of the past year' – was Sinners' Michael B. Jordan, with Male Actor in a Leading Role, and Cast in a Motion Picture.
The late Catherine O'Hara was also honoured with Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series, as well as Ensemble in a Comedy Series, for her role in The Studio.
Harrison Ford, meanwhile, was recognised with the 61st Annual SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award.
