Gurriers, Bell X1, Cardinals and more to perform on new series of RTÉ's Seisiún
The series will see Bell X1, The Hothouse Flowers, Jack Lukeman, Mary Coughlan, Sharon Shannon, Cardinals, John Spillane, Ryan Sheridan and Gurriers take to the stage.
RTÉ has announced the return of Seisiún, a four-part music series that will air on RTÉ One and stream on RTÉ Player, beginning Friday, September 26, at 8PM.
Hosted by West Kerry musician Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh, the series showcases live performances from four venues across Ireland, showcasing their legacy.
The venues for this series are: the Róisín Dubh in Galway, DeBarra's in Clonakilty, the Spirit Store in Dundalk and Cleere's in Kilkenny.
The series will see Bell X1, The Hothouse Flowers, Jack Lukeman, Mary Coughlan, Sharon Shannon, Cardinals, John Spillane, Ryan Sheridan and Gurriers and more take to the stage, along with new artists including IMLÉ, The Kates, Annika Kilkenny, Rawney and DUG.
Seisiún aims to highlight Ireland’s live music scene, focusing on venues that have been instrumental in nurturing both emerging and established talent.
The series not only celebrates the music but also the passionate individuals who have kept these venues alive, ensuring that live music continues to thrive in communities across the country.
