Disney's Peter Pan and Wendy stars Jude Law as Captain Hook
The story of Peter Pan has been portrayed many times in various forms, including musicals, films and plays. The forthcoming Disney+ film takes inspiration from J.M. Barrie's original book.
A new teaser for the upcoming Peter Pan and Wendy film, starring English actor Jude Law, has been released.
In the almost two-minute-long trailer, we see UK actor Alexander Molony as protagonist Peter Pan, struggling with growing up and his longtime adversary Captain Hook - played by Law.
The teaser shows the 50-year-old actor growling, "Wendy Moira Angela Darling, where is Peter Pan?" The latest version of Wendy Darling is played by actress Ever Anderson.
Director and co-writer David Lowery, best known for directing 2016's Pete's Dragon, takes inspiration from J.M. Barrie's 1904 play as well as Disney's 1953 animated film.
Peter Pan and Wendy will be available on Disney+ on April 28th.

Aside from Law's appearance in the costume of the famous pirate, the video teases the story of the boy who wouldn't grow up and his companions, the lost boys.
The film also stars Black-ish star Yara Shahidi, Alyssa Wapanatâhk, Joshua Pickering, Jacobi Jupe, Molly Parker, Alan Tudyk and Jim Gaffigan, who are sure to be great addition to the cast.
Jude Law recently portrayed the wizard Dumbledore in the Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore film. He is also known for playing John Watson in 2009's Sherlock Holmes.
Next up for the actor is a role in the upcoming Disney+ series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.
