Animation Ireland's Meitheal to return for second year

Animation Ireland's Meitheal 2025 is set to take place at The Galway Bay Hotel on May 23.
The annual event is an all-day conference, bringing together professionals and students in the animation industry for talks, panels and demonstrations.
This year's Meitheal will feature talks on cutting-edge technology, investigations on the sustainability of AI and explore trends in content, platforms and audiences of animation.
Guest speakers and panelists include Nickelodeon's VP of Production Patty Henry Robinson, Chair of Ireland's Artificial Intelligence Council Dr. Patricia Scanlon, supervising producer of the hit series Common Side Effects Max Minor and more.
Ireland is home to a wide range of animation studios, with more than 2,500 people working in the industry. Among them are the Oscar-nominated Cartoon Saloon and the Emmy award-winning Brown Bag Films.
