2024 Razzie Awards: Megan Fox, Sylvester Stallone and Winnie The Pooh slasher film win top dishonours
Described by organisers as the “ugly cousin to the Oscars," The Golden Raspberry Awards seeks to honour the “worst” of the year's cinema.
Every year around Oscars weekend - which celebrates the year's 'greatest' in cinema - an awards ceremony is held that singles out the worst, at least according to judges, films and performances of the year: The Golden Raspberry Awards or, as they are affectionately called, The Razzies.
Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey - which reimagines the characters of the Hundred Acre Wood as bloodthirsty serial killers - swept the categories with five wins, including Worst Picture.
Megan Fox garnered two awards at this weekend's ceremony: a Worst Actress nod for her role in Johnny & Clyde and a Supporting Actress Razzie for the action film Expend4bles.
Jon Voight was chosen as Worst Actor for Mercy, while Fox's Expend4bles co-star Sylvester Stallone won Worst Supporting Actor. To date, Stallone is the most-awarded actor ever with 12 Razzies.
While Expend4bles dominated the acting categories, it was truly a night to remember for Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey, which won - on top of Worst Film - Worst Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel, Worst Director and Worst Screenplay for Rhys Frake-Waterfield and Worst On-Screen Couple, which was awarded to Pooh and Piglet.
