Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly Reunite

Ferrell will star as Arthur Conan Doyle's famous detective, while Reilly will play his trusted sidekick. Etan Cohen will direct and wrote the script for Holmes and Watson, which puts a comedic spin on a story inspired by a classic Sherlock Holmes tale. Cohen has penned several beloved comedies, including Tropic Thunder and Idiocracy, and he made his directorial debut last year with Get Hard, which starred Ferrell and Kevin Hart (Cohen also wrote the script).

Ferrell and Reilly have worked on several projects together over the years, but Holmes and Watson marks just their third movie as co-stars, following 2006's Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and 2008's Step Brothers.
