We Know Who Will Fight Batman in His Newest Solo Movie
It’s Deathstroke the Terminator, a name that just screams “bad guy.”
Ben Affleck tweeted out footage with no description of a heavily armored, scary looking guy who would look right at home in a modern superhero movie. While nothing was confirmed at the time, comic book fans suggested that it was probably footage of a particular DC Comics villain.

It’s been confirmed that that is Deathstroke the Terminator, and he will be the main villain of Ben Affleck’s solo Batman movie. Normally a foe for the superhero team Teen Titans, Deathstroke has traded blows with Batman in the comics and the Batman: Arkham Origins videogame. For those of you who are unaware of the character, he is DC’s most competent mercenary, with combat skills that rival the Dark Knight.
The as of yet untitled Batman movie has no release date at this point, though we assume it will arrive some time after Zack Snyder’s Justice League, which will premiere November 2017.
