Watch:Trailer for Sundance comedy Fun Mom Dinner drops
The indie film ensemble leads a riotous comedy
We've seen the likes of The Hangover and Rough Night, raunchy comedies about ridiculous people who go on liquor fueled nights out and struggle to remember the fun they had the next day. Well Fun Mom Dinner is the middle-aged, life-comes-at-you-fast version of those movies.
Starring Toni Collette, Molly Shannon and Adam Scott, the film, which premiered at Sundance at the start of the year, follows a group of bored mothers who are eager for a bit of spice in their lives. A dinner with friends soon turns into opportunity for the middle aged women to let loose for the first time in a while.
As the trailer makes clear, there is also a cute cameo from Maroon 5's Adam Levine. Fun Mom Dinner was written by Judie Rudd, wife of famous actor Paul Rudd (who also makes an appearance in the film).
There is no word as of yet as to when Fun Mom Dinner will be released in Irish cinemas, but it should be a good time out when it does.
