WATCH: Tommy Wiseau Appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Show Last Night
The enigmatic director of The Room came on air with James Franco to discuss the actor's portrayal of him in The Disaster Artist.
The Disaster Artist tells the story of the 2003 cult classic, which was dubbed “The Greatest Bad Movie Ever Made”.
Both Wiseau and Franco discussed the relationship between the two movies and the two directors with Jimmy Kimmel last night.
Wiseau declared that Franco’s depiction of filming The Room was “99.9 percent” accurate.
Franco had to sit through hours of pre-production each day in order to get into character as Wiseau.
The Disaster Artist has received rave reviews a film festivals across the world, including the Toronto International Film Festival and Gotham Independent Film Awards.
It opens in Irish cinemas on Wednesday.
