Keanu Reeves is back to kick butt as John Wick, an ex-hitman with a heart of gold. The first film received good reviews, and, more importantly, made four times its modest budget of US $20 million. We mean modest in the relative sense. With success comes the sequel.

As expected of an action sequel, this new movie promises to be bigger and will take Keanu Reeve’s assassin character to exotic locales, including Rome. Lawrence Fishburne, who famously starred alongside Reeves in The Matrix trilogy, appears, though it seems that he will be Wick’s enemy.

The trailer looks stylish and slick, with plenty of gun action for action movie fans to enjoy. John Wick: Chapter 2 will release early 2017. A third film is already in the works.
