Watch: The Mummy teaser trailer

Tom Cruise is fronting the new Universal's monster reboot.

After the success of the Marvel movies, Universal is now biding to launch an universe of classic monsters.

A first teaser has dropped with Tom Cruise chasing after a new gender-bent spin on Universal's classic Mummy character in the form of Star Trek Beyond's Sofia Boutella.

Besides The Mummy, another films have already been pitched as Dracula, The Wolfman, Frankenstein, The Invisible Man, The Bride of Frankenstein, and Van Helsing.
