Watch: The latest <i>Star Wars: Rogue 1</i> trailer

Things look all grim in a galaxy far far away.

The new Star Wars: Rogue 1 trailer has been released and it shows a film with a much darker theme.
The trailer sets up the movie as a brooding affair with little of the goofy humour present in the main series. The closest we get to a joke is a 7ft murder-bot informing the main character, in a jaunty tone, that it won't murder her.
What the trailer lacks in humour it more than makes up for with tense, ominous action, giving this latest Star Wars trailer the feel of a gritty war film.

Star Wars: Rogue 1 will be in cinemas December 16
