Watch the first trailer for War for the Planet of the Apes

The first trailer for War for the Planet of the Apes was released a few days ago arousing the feeling that this may be the biggest confrontation between humans and apes in the series.
It is the third installment in the Planet of the Apes franchise, in sequel of Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014).
In War for the Planet of the Apes, Caesar and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel. After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. As the journey finally brings them face to face, Caesar and the Colonel are pitted against each other in an epic battle that will determine the fate of both their species and the future of the planet.
The film was directed by Matt Reeves and stars Andy Serkis, Woody Harrelson, Steve Zahn, Judy Greer, Karin Konoval, and Terry Notary.
War for the Planet of the Apes will hit theaters on July 14, 2017.
