Watch: Star Wars' heroine Rey is back in new animated feature

Though there's still a few months to go before the release of the new Star Wars film, fans will be glad to hear that there's a new animated Star Wars series- and the first episode is available now. The new series will tell the stories of Star Wars' heroines, with many of the original actresses returning to use their voice talents for the series. Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o will once again play Maz Kanata, and Felicity Jones, of the latest film Star Wars: Rogue One will play her character Jyn Erso.
Each episode stands as a short story that takes place within the existing films. The first episode, "Sands of Jakku" is available now. You can watch the full episode below.
