Watch: Planet Earth II Official Extended Trailer
BBC's legendary documentary series gets a sequel.
It's hard to believe, but it's already been ten years since the acclaimed Planet Earth television series documentary released. It awed audiences with its magnificent portrayal of eleven different biomes across the planet, capturing a view of nature which many people might have never seen, otherwise.
In 2013, plans for a sequel formed under the working title One Planet, before adopting its official title Planet Earth II. Using new film technology and a broader understanding of how natural phenomena work, the series seeks to look at nature from a new perspective.
