Watch: New US Trailer for Irish produced Pilgrimage starring Tom Holland

RLJ Entertainment have released a new trailer for their upcoming Irish historical action thriller Pilgrimage. The film will have its premiere at the Galway Film Fleadh today before being released in Irish cinemas on July 14.

Set on the Emerald Isle in the the 13th century, the thrilling tale follows a group of Monks who are summoned to take an ancient holy relic to Rome. Their journey will be a treacherous one, marked by violence, greed and moral debasement.

It stars Spiderman: Homecoming's Tom Holland as the young Novice Brother Diarmuid and The Hobbit's Richard Armitage as his mentor. The most startling inclusion, however, has to be Jon Bernthal (The Wolf of Wall Street), who plays a muscle bound force of nature who doesn't say a word but lets his swordplay do his talking.

The film will also hit VOD services and select theatres in the US on August 11. Check the new trailer below:
