WATCH: New trailer for Marvel's Luke Cage
Marvel's invulnerable crimefighter one step closer to Netflix release
A new trailer has arrived for Marvel's Luke Cage, a Netflix series following the titular invulnerable hero.
The show stars Mike Colter, reprising his role from last year's acclaimed series, Jessica Jones. The show is the next step towards Marvel's ultimate plan for their properties on Netflix, whereby Cage and Jones, alongside Charlie Cox's Daredevil and the upcoming Iron Fist, band together to create the New York-based superhero team The Defenders.
For now, Cage seems to be operating solo - tackling organised crime in Harlem, his home territory. Expectations are high after Marvel's previous Netflix outings, Daredevil and Jessica Jones, were met with praise from audiences and critics alike.
Lock yourself in with Cage on September 30, when the series arrives to Netflix in full.
