Watch: Matt Damon shrinks to save the world in new trailer for <i>Downsizing</i>

Matt Damon, Kristen Wiig, Christoph Waltz and Jason Sudeikis star in this new satirical sci-fi comedy directed by Alexander Payne (The Descendants, Sideways).

Taking a suitably Swiftian approach to the global issue of overpopulation, Downsizing tells the story of a scientist who discovers that the crisis can be averted by shrinking human beings down to a fraction of their original size.

Having premiered at the 74th Venice Film Festival on August 30th, Downsizing is set to be released on December 22nd.
