Watch: Logan Trailer
That's Wolverine for you non-nerds.
Wow. Wolverine, or Logan, isn't looking too great. The world doesn't look too great. The mutants are gone. Professor Xavier looks absolutely ragged. If there's something this trailer is looking to sell you on, it's the bleakness of it all, reinforced by Johnny Cash's legendary cover of Hurt. But if there's one glimmer of hope, it's the young girl that Logan is seen with.
Logan is the last time we'll get Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, who, for many people, is the definitive take on the character. There's something sad about saying goodbye to this film character who has remained a fixture of nearly all the X-Men movies. The story is a loose adaptation of the limited series comic Old Man Logan, which sees an aged Logan who has retired the Wolverine mantle after the supervillains won.
The film will have a US release date of 3 March 2017, with an Irish release date expected around that time.
