Watch Kevin Spacey as a gangster boss in new trailer for Baby Driver
The World’s End director Edgar Wright returns with his new action movie starring Kevin Spacey.
The first trailer for the 2017 action-crime movie Baby Driver has been released.
The film was written and directed by Hot Fuzz director Edgar Wright who also helmed the Three Flavours Cornetto film trilogy and will make his animation debut in 2019 with Shadows.
The trailer gives a first insight into a film featuring an all-star cast including, additional to Kevin Spacey, The Fault in Our Stars actor Ansel Elgart and Lily James (Downtown Abbey).
For the new film, Ansel Elgart takes the role of the young, but talented getaway driver Baby, who listens to music while driving to focus, following an accident he had when he was young. While working for a gangster boss (played by Kevin Spacey), he gets involved in the crime scene and becomes embroiled with gang members, including Jamie Foxx, Jon Bernthal and Jon Hamm. When Baby meets the girl of his dreams he tries to quit his criminal business as he suddenly finds himself in a heist doomed to fail.
Baby Driver recently premiered on the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas, where it already was acclaimed by critics.
The movie is set to hit the cinemas in the UK and Ireland on August 18, 2017.
