Watch: True Memoirs of an International Assassin trailer
Netflix released trailer for their upcoming action comedy film.
True Memoirs of an International Assassin will premiere November 11 on Netflix. The film centres around Sam Larson (Kevin James), an insecure author who finally manages to sell his assassin novel. Unluckily, he gets mistaken for a killer-for-hire when his book about an international assassin is accidentally published as a true story.
When his fictional novel is a huge success, he gets kidnapped, taken out of the country, and forced into an assassination plot.
Andy Garcia (Kill the Messenger) , Zulay Henao (Meet the Blacks), Maurice Compte (Narcos), Andrew Howard (Taken 3), Rob Riggle (22 Jump Street), Kelen Coleman (The McCarthy’s), Leonard Earl Howze (Memphis Beat), Yul Vasquez (The Lottery) and Kim Coates (Sons of Anarchy) also star in the film.
Jeff Morris and Jeff Wadlow wrote the script which originally appeared on the 2009 Black List. The Black List is an annual survey of best un-produced screenplays. In 2015, Netflix acquired the worldwide distribution rights to True Memoirs of an International Assassin.
