Netflix releases their new original series inspired by the famous character, Miranda Sings.
Netflix will exclusively premiere globally all eight episodes of Haters Back Off! on October 14.
The new series is based on Miranda Sings, a character created by the American comedian and YouTube personality, Colleen Ballinger. Haters Back Off! delves into Miranda Sings’s oddball family life as she continues to fail upward by the power of her belief that she was born famous and no one knows yet.
The series stars Ballinger as Miranda Sings, Steve Little (Eastbound & Down) as Miranda's overly confident and utterly misguided uncle Jim, Angela Kinsey (The Office) as Miranda's mom, Bethany, and Erik Stocklin, as Miranda's neighbour and best friend, Patrick.
Colleen started posting videos of the character in 2008 as a satire of bad and arrogant singers who appear unaware of their lack of talent. Quickly enough Miranda Sings was performed on tour in theatres worldwide.
