WATCH: HBO release extended Game of Thrones trailer ahead of new season
Almost every major cast member makes an appearance in this telling new trailer for Season 7.
HBO have released a new trailer for the upcoming season of Game of Thrones, which will begin airing on July 16.
The new trailer features appearances from all of the major characters in the show and, while there are no immediate spoilers for the new season, the trailer does drop several clues about what's in store.
It may be the first day of #Summer, but #WinterIsHere on 7.16 on @HBO.

Sansa Stark appears to be contemplating the advice of the ever-scheming Petyr Baelish, who is no doubt strategising about how he can use her to his advantage.
Elsewhere, Daenarys and her legions have descended on the Targayens ancestral home of Dragonstone; Jon Snow appears to once again be travelling north to the Night's Watch; and Bran Stark has fashioned himself a working wheelchair.
Several battle scenes, which feature Lannister bannerman, Jaime Lannister on horseback, the dragons baring their teeth and the Greyjoys looking bemused, all seem to hint at a showdown between Daenery's army and the Lannisters in this scene, although this is all speculation.
Possibly the most intriguing and theory-inducing part of the trailer is Jon Snow's conservation with an unnamed person, where he says: "For centuries our families fought together against their common enemies. Despite their differences, together. We need to do the same if we're going to survive. Because the enemy is real."
