WATCH: 'Girls' cast stand in support for Stanford rape victim
The video has been released following the decision to jail Brock Turner for just six months.
Lena Durnam, along with the cast of Girls have released a video in support of the victim of the Stanford rape case.
The case, which has become highly publicised, involves Stanford student and athlete Brock Turner who was convicted of sexually assaulting an unconscious woman.
Durnam, Alison Williams, Jemima Kirk and Zosia Mamet have come together in the clip which was posted on Lena Durnam's twitter account.
In it the women talk of the importance of supporting victims and of the "brave survivor in the Stanford case who has given so much to change the conversation".

Brock, who was convicted of sexual assault, was sentenced to just six months prison following a controversial letter sent by his dad to the judge where he stated his sons life would change forever for just "20 minutes of action".
The decision has sparked public outrage and the release of the video is another addition to the already overwhelming amount of support the victim, who has remained anonymous, has received.
