Watch: Bill Nye Saves the World Correspondent Announcement

Bill Nye wants to save the world in his aptly named Netflix series, and he won't be doing it alone. Joining him are a group of young people across multiple professions–model and entrepreneur Karlie Koss, space exploration advocate Emily Calandrelli, comedians Joanna Hausmann and Nazeem Hussain, and YouTube science personality Derek Muller. They will assist Bill Nye, also known as the Science Guy, in shedding light on science and dispelling science myths perpetuated by big businesses, politicians, and other people of power.

We wish Bill Nye and his group the best of luck. Saving the world is no small task, but they just might be able to make a dent in science ignorance, a goal worthy of applause.
