Jennifer Aniston, Kelsey Grammar, and Key & Peele co-star
Though Andy Samberg is perhaps best known for the explicit content of The Lonely Island, he's found time to lend his voice to some good old fashioned children's entertainment.
The animated Storks stars Andy Samberg as Junior, a stork who works for an Amazon-style corporation. In this world, storks have left behind baby delivery in favour of delivering packages, but it seems the storks forgot to deliver one last child.
Junior and Tulip (Katie Crown) join together to bring the child to her family. Tulip - who's a human for some reason - is an orphan, and she hopes to find her own family along the way.
The film seems charming if a bit rote. It co-stars Kelsey Grammar, Jennifer Aniston, comedy duo Key & Peele, and Modern Family's Ty Burrell. Longtime Pixar animator Doug Sweetland co-directs with screenwriter Nicholas Stoller, whose scripts range from Sex Tape to Muppets Most Wanted.
We at Hot Press must ask, though: if the storks no longer deliver babies, where are all the new babies coming from? Please contact our tips page if you find out.
