Warner Bros Moves Forward with Man of Steel Sequel
Until recently, the studio has been silent on another standalone Superman movie. As it turns out, they’re still committed to the character.
With three DC movies released to tepid reviews and lower than desired turnout, the future of the shared cinematic universe has been uncertain as of lately, even with Wonder Woman and Justice League due out in 2017. Despite all this, Warner Bros is confident in another Man of Steel, with hopes of getting the character “right.”
No news yet exists on a window of release for the untitled sequel. Beyond the two aforementioned films to be premier next year, there are also talks of other DC superhero movies, including a Batman story set in the infamous Arkham Asylum from the comic book lore, written, directed, and starring Ben Affleck.
With Marvel now releasing three films a year starting in 2017, the future of superhero cinema is looking bigger than ever.
