Voting for Overall Winner in IMRO Live Music Awards starts now!

The shortlists have been announced for the IMRO Live Music Awards 2026.

The full list of nominees across the categories of Live Music Venue of the Year, Live Music Festival of the Year and Live Music Promoter of the Year, as revealed by IMRO, can be seen below.

Now, members of the general public – with Hot Press readers and fans of Irish music to the fore – are the ones who will decide the Overall Winner of the IMRO Live Music Award 2026 by public vote – so this is your chance to have your say by casting your vote! But remember: it is important to do it now, as voting closes in just over two days time!

The nominees in three crucial categories – Live Music Venue of the Year, Live Music Festival of the Year and Live Music Promoter of the Year – are all in the voting mix for the Overall Winner. So if you scroll down to the list below, all you gotta do is cast your vote by ticking the box alongside your choice for what is an enormously prestigious award, fill in the other details required and press submit.

The time to get weaving is now! Voting closes at 23.59 on Thursday 16 April. That’s in just over two days time, so there’s no scope for procrastination...

The IMRO Live Music Awards ceremony will take place at the Guinness Storehouse on 21 April 2026, hosted by Tom Dunne and Rachel Mae Hannon, with live performances from Ahmed With Love, BABYRAT and Scullion, along with a special surprise guest.
