Tickets to Artists Against Homelessness' April 17th show at the 3Olympia Theatre are on sale now, priced at €25.
Artists Against Homelessness is coming to the 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin this Sunday, April 17th. Headlined and curated by Kojaque, the line-up showcases a collection of incredible artists including Damien Dempsey, Shiv, EFÉ, Ahmed, With Love, Negro Impacto, Curtisy and more.
"The issue of homelessness in Ireland is one that simply shouldn’t exist and can be prevented with the right intervention from government,’ the Dublin rapper said. "However, it’s not something that I have felt is in the interest of our government, which is why charities like Focus Ireland and events such as this one are so important. They offer hope to those most in need of it."
This will be the eighth year of Artists Against Homelessness', previously known as Rock Against Homelessness. The event is set to be one of the best yet. Hosting a slew of Irish heavy-hitters and MC'd by DJ Tara Kumar, the 3Olympia will be alight with a wide range of homegrown acts.
Joining Kojaque onstage will be celebrated singer-songwriter Damien Dempsey, DJ and producer Shiv, EFÉ, Dundalk R&B duo Negro Impacto, Curtisy, rapper Ahmed, With Love and several unnamed special guests.
‘There are still nearly 9,000 people homeless and the sheer number of children and families who are on the verge of homelessness due to the unstable housing sector is appalling. There are 2,500 children who are homeless with their families, and most lost their homes in the rental sector due to rocketing rents, insecurity of tenure and the rising cost of living," said Focus Ireland CEO Pat Dennigan. "Focus Ireland work hard every day to help prevent people from losing their homes and these services are needed now more than ever."
Tickets are on sale now, and are priced at €25, and can be purchased here.
