Virginia Woolf is heading to the big screen.
Vita and Virginia, based on the play of the same name by Dame Eileen Atkins, will tell the story of Virginia Woolf’s affair with the writer Vita Sackville-West. Woolf dedicated her popular novel Orlando to Sackville-West, who was the inspiration for the book.
British director Chanya Button, whose work includes 2015’s Burn Burn Burn, is set to direct. No casting has been announced as of yet.
