Two Irish actors join the Game of Thrones Cast for Season Seven
Irish actors Brendan Morrissey and Rory Dignam are set to join the series upcoming season.
According to reports, Irish actors Brendan Morrissey and Rory Dignam are set to join the seventh season of Game of Thrones.
Brendan Morrissey is listed to play the Frey's Lord according to his Agency CV. He presumably will take over from Walder, who was killed by a revenge-seeking Arya Stark at the end of season 6.
He has also appeared in 'Angela's Ashes', 'Ripper Street', 'The Tudors', 'Fair City', and 'Laws of Attraction'.
Dublin-based actor Rory Dignam is a graduate and has starred in a number of productions at the Lir. According to his management's website he just recorded Game Of Thrones season seven but there is no further detail available of what role he will be playing.
Aiden Gillen, Liam Cunningham, Jack Gleeson and Michelle Fairley are some of other Irish actors who have cast the previous seasons of Game Of Thrones.
Game of Thrones Season 7 will premiere later than usual; rather than April, it'll instead debut sometime during the summer of 2017.
It'll be shorter than past seasons and will have only seven episodes.
