Trump Blames Oscar Mix-Up Fiasco On Politics!
You couldn't make it up: the so-called Leader of the Free World, Donald Trump reckons that the mix-up in announcing the winner for Best Picture happened because the Hollywood elite were too focused on attacking him!
The Oscar mix-up fiasco saw 'La La Land' losing out on the Best Picture gong to 'Moonlight' in a bizarre scene. If that wasn't strange enough, now President Trump says he actually believes that Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway were handed the wrong envelope when announcing the Best Picture at the Academy Awards because everybody was "focused so hard on politics"!
At the ceremony, several Hollywood stars took a pop at Trump, who appears adamant that the whole embarrassing episode would never have happened if the Hollywood elite had focused on the award ceremony itself, rather than attacking him!
"I think they were focused so hard on politics that they didn’t get the act together at the end," Donald Trump has said in an interview with Breitbart.
“It was a little sad. It took away from the glamour of the Oscars. It didn’t feel like a very glamorous evening. I’ve been to the Oscars. There was something very special missing, and then to end that way was sad.”
