Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri Wins Big At SAGs
Martin McDonagh continues his steady march towards the Oscars, with his acclaimed new film winning big at the SAG Awards last night in Hollywood.
London-Irish director Martin McDonagh is on a roll! His brilliant, and widely acclaimed, movie Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri – which stars Frances McDormand (pictured) in a rivetting performance – scooped the prizes for Best Ensemble, Best Actress (McDormand) and Best Supporting Actor (Sam Rockwell) at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Hollywood last night.
The film has been receiving rave reviews and is now being tipped for Academy Awards glory.
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri has already been one of the big winners at the Golden Globes, while it has also been nominated for nine BAFTAs.
Irish Eyes are still smiling after the release of the BAFTA 2018 Nominations, with Saoirse Ronan and Daniel Day-Lewis also up for honours, along with McDonagh.
