The Sopranos Is Set To Return!
The TV show's creator, David Chase is planning to make a prequel movie based on The Sopranos, it has been confirmed.
The Sopranos originally ran for six seasons, ending in 2006.
David Chase is working on the new script with Sopranos scriptwriter Lawrence Konner.
The new movie will be based in the 1960s and has the working title 'The Many Saints of Newark'.
It's understood that this new movie will focus on some of the older characters from the TV series in their formative years, including Tony Sopranos' father and mother.
