Submissions Open For 2019 Audi Dublin International Film Festival
Applications can be from all over the world
Filmmakers can now apply their work for screening at ADIFF 2019, the biggest film festival in Ireland.
To be in with a chance of winning the prestigious Audience Award, the movie must be a minimum of 60 minutes in length. Meanwhile, if filmmakers want to submit a movie to compete for the festival’s short film prizes, the project must be under 30 minutes.
Other rules for applying include the films not being available to see in Ireland online or in cinemas before the festival. Also, the projects must have been completed by September 1, 2017.
The festival ‘welcomes’ unsolicited submissions and accepts films from all over the world, so long as English subtitles are included.
The deadline for applying is midnight October 1, 2018.
This year, Oscar-nominated animation The Breadwinner was the Audience Award Feature Film winner. Meanwhile the shorts Mother & Baby, Retouch and Time Traveller took home top honours in their categories.
